<description>This is the entry piece my partner and summited for the NSYC 2013.
The brief didn’t make much sense …[as usual]… but it was fun.

Footnote: It was really hard to realize that for the first time since I’m doing this advertising craft, I’m not a Young Creative ...anymore.
Reality hits hard.

<description>The future… is the future… it’s unknown, uncertain and unexpected, and we as humans, like the idea of knowing what is there for us.
Fortune cookies are just a vehicle to know the future… well… sort of.

How: We placed our message “about the future” in the well known fortune cookies. The messages were about the benefits of the Ford cars (40 MPG, Sync technology, new models, etc.) Then, with the partnership of a local Chinese food restaurant, we delivered our message to our target.

<description>Using Facebook as media, we decided to trick the system by advertising for free. The message was simple: Wear a life Jacket/Carry your flares. The idea was to use the hype of the “how do I really look like” type of pictures and use it as our vehicle. People was already using this type of photographical arrangements to comments about rock bands, students, photographers, people at the gym, etc.

It was easy… we saw the opportunity, and with stock pictures and a clear message, we did our job. We tagged other people on the pictures and then we just waited till they share the message.

<description>A corner is technically a place where two things or events intersect. Two apparently unrelated histories become one for a split second. Our idea was to find a common ground between your story (whichever it is) and Walgreens.

How: Placing our message at the corner of selected magazines our target reads, and making an obvious connection with the article on the page.

<description>This video was intended to prove that ideas have no limits.

My partner and I decided to create a collective song with musicians all over the world.

First, we created a musical track that contained no more than a little Latin percussion beat, and two guitar chords (Em – Bm) played back and forth. We uploaded this track to the Internet and made it available for anyone to download it.
Then, we recorded a little instructional video. We asked the people to download the musical track and use it as reference for timing purposes. We also asked them to record a video of them playing a musical instrument with their laptops or cell phones and send it to us. Every person was free to do and play as they wish… they could play whatever they want on the video (following the tempo and the chords we provided).
Finally, my partner and I collected all the videos from musicians around the world, and made a single masterpiece. A collective song with musicians from all over the world… we did it in 72 hrs.
